Happy Mothers Day

For my primary class this Sunday I made a little treat for the kids to give their moms.  Feel free to copy it if you are in need of an idea! I just happened to have a bunch of baby food jars kicking around and was able to put them to good use! Who doesn't love HOT LIPS!

This i my favourite of all time quotes! This is what the complete quote from Sister Hinckley says:

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Medicine Hat and Taber Trip

A few weeks ago we went down to visit my parents in Taber and were able to spend some time with Amy and Sarah & Logan as well.  We had lots of fun and always love seeing them.  On the way home we made an unexpected turn on the highway and went to Medicine Hat.  Bryan has been set on Medicine Hat and how great it is but really has only been there once and that was for baseball when he was young.  I always say you need to at least go there and see if you like it before you think of moving us there.  So we ended up staying at the Med Hat Lodge and driving around Medicine Hat checking it out.  That hotel was always my favourite growing up since it had two waterslides.  Going there now it wasn't quite as exciting but it was still fun.  Emilie didn't even show any emotion when we took her down the water slide! Well here are a few pictures of that trip.

this was the only way I could do finish doing the folding....caging her in the laundry basket!
